SGCC in SF

Those of you who follow me on Twitter and Facebook already know that I was back in San Francisco last week to attend BlogHer Food 2010. I had an absolutely marvelous time reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. I ate like every meal was my last; I partied like it was 1999; and I shopped ‘til I dropped! And, I also managed to learn a few things about blogging in between. But, getting back home after such a trip brings a big dose of reality with it. As I step back into real life, I have lots of catching up to do.

I’m always amazed (and very impressed) when I’ve barely stepped off the plane and there are already numerous conference recaps posted on various blogs. I wish I could be that organized! I’m usually lucky if I can get something posted after two or three weeks, and by that time, it barely seems relevant anymore. Plus, there is usually so much information to write about that I get overwhelmed about halfway through and throw my hands up in despair! This time, however, I was determined not to let too much grass grow under my feet. So, here is my recap while all is still relatively fresh in my sieve-like little mind.
