Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today is also Mr. SGCC’s birthday and we’re going out tonight! I don’t know if we’ll do Mexican again or not, (we do it every year), but wherever we end up, I’ll be thankful that I don’t have to cook in this heat. For those of you planning to cook, and who live in a more temperate climate, here are some muy delicioso Cinco de Mayo ideas from the SGCC archives.
Enjoy!

When I was in Seattle over the weekend I purchased several ingredients to make Mexican. I meant to make something for Cinco de mayo but life has a way of getting in the way:D All of your dishes look amazing Susan.

Happy B-day to the Mr. SGCC!!! Hope you guys had a beautiful celebration.
Since the weather refuses to stay warm in NY, a nice cookup in a Mexican kitchen would have been welcoming. Also, going out for Mexican on 5/5 is a bit dangerous. Too many people! I’d rather eat your food pictured above.
